1. CapTech Elevate Internship

CapTech is a technology consulting firm in Richmond, Va.,  specializing in management consulting, technology solutions, data and analytics, and customer experience. The company partners with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Salesforce, and more to provide technology solutions to business problems. About the internship: Interns work with other interns to experience the full lifecycle of a typical IT consulting project. 

“You’ll be working to help solve some of CapTech’s internal projects, including all aspects of the analysis, design, development, and deployment of an internal tool to help benefit CapTech. The program is designed to help interns fully experience the many roles consultants play in everyday projects,” the company writes. 

Interns are paired with a senior CapTech consultant to document and track their goals. They also get to participate in weekly “lunch and learns” with a CapTech senior partners and in Richmond’s local “YRichmond” Intern program. At the end of the internship, the intern teams get the opportunity to present their project to the company.
