ADMISSION STANDARDS
We used nine metrics to calculate our Admission Standards category, which accounts for one third of the overall ranking: Acceptance rate (25%); percent of alumni finishing in the top 10% of their high school class (10%); 6-year graduation rate (20%); average SAT/ACT score (10%), and average high school GPA (15%). We also use the percentage of students that are first-generation students, underrepresented minorities, women, and international students, weighing each metric 5%.
Admissions data is gathered through our institutional survey.
