SP Jain Achieves 100% Placement for the Third Year in a Row

For the third consecutive year, the SP Jain School of Global Management’s Bachelor of Data Science (BDS) program achieved 100% placements for the Class of 2024.

In case you haven’t heard, their three-year BDS program, offered in Mumbai and Sydney, equips students for careers in data science, with the added bonus of a post-study work visa in Australia for an international experience.

Graduates scored roles at big-name companies like Telstra, Morgan Stanley, and Greenstone Financials, with salaries hitting a high of AUD 105,000 (plus perks) and an average of AUD 84,750. These jobs span industries like IT consulting, financial services, and healthcare, which just goes to show that SP Jain’s grads are ready to thrive in the real world.

‘A PROUD MOMENT FOR US’

Director of the BDS program at SP Jain Global, Abhijit Dasgupta, says he is elated to celebrate another year of 100% job placements. “The fact that our students have earned salaries 40% higher than the average graduate compensation in Australia reflects not only their exceptional technical expertise and problem-solving capabilities but also the rigorous training and industry-relevant exposure they receive during the program. It is a proud moment for us to see their talents being recognized and rewarded on a global stage.”

Graduate Shubh Mehta landed a role at Greenstone Financials and even gained admission into Harvard’s MS Computer Science program. He credited the program’s holistic approach for his success.

“The program’s immersive curriculum and personalised mentorship boosted my confidence and equipped me with practical insights that were instrumental in achieving multiple milestones. During my time at SP Jain Global, I secured several prestigious internships, published award-winning research papers, and even earned a patent to my name.”

Not only were the job placements exceptional, but students excelled around the board – winning internships, hackathons, and showcasing research at conferences like IEEE and Google.

Director Abhijit Dasgupta attributes their success to a mix of rigorous academics, hands-on projects, and global exposure.
