AI robots forward the technology of the future concept. Artificial intelligence, innovation and Ai technology change the world

Why Human Creativity Still Matters In A World With AI

Imagine a future where machines handle most jobs, but the things that make us human still matter more than ever. That future is slowly becoming our reality.

Considering how quickly AI is spreading globally with nearly 300 million full-time jobs potentially automated, a new study by digital platform JB set out to determine how artificial intelligence (AI) might reshape the workforce by 2030 around the globe, and which countries are in the best place to retain their workforce.

JB used a mix of indicators – like how well countries educate their people, attract talent, support innovation, and shape global culture. They also looked at Nobel and Oscar wins, talent competitiveness, and the Human Development Index (which tracks life expectancy, income, and education).

THE TOP TALENT GLOBALLY

The United States tops the list, and it’s not just because of the talent that comes out of Silicon Valley. With 428 Nobel Prize winners and the highest global soft power score, the U.S. leads in scientific achievement and international influence. Switzerland landed in second, known for its high salaries, strong education system, and a thriving community of 20,000 scientists. The UK, Germany, and France round out the top five, each bringing research excellence and cultural impact. France, for example, boasts the most Oscar winners worldwide.

Other standout countries include Sweden, Denmark, Japan, Canada, and the Netherlands. These nations score high in innovation, education, and global reputation. Japan, for instance, has one of the highest average IQs and a deep-rooted scientific tradition, which Sweden and Denmark shine in digital tech and talent attraction.

What does this mean for those thinking about heading to business school? One might say that it’s a great idea. There is still a place for human skills in the global workforce, says JB’s spokesperson.

“Efficiency is great – but it’s culture, values, and innovation that shape lasting impact.”
