MORE VOLATILITY FURTHER DOWN THE RANKING
The further down the ranking you go, the more volatile the results. University of Pittsburgh rose the most in schools ranked 64th or higher, climbing 15 spots to No. 34. Conversely, two schools fell 15 spots this year: Villanova School of Business and Santa Clara Leavey School of Business.
Nonetheless, the U.S. News ranking gets lots of attention and schools that do well on the list certainly gain bragging rights to say they rank highly which can impact application volume and the quality of applicants a school can ultimately attract.
