What made Jorge such an invaluable addition to the Class of 2017?

“I have known Jorge for approximately two years, and I am impressed by his growth and development. When I became the associate dean, I heard about Jorge’s dedication to Rutgers Business School and his commitment to making the experience for his fellow classmates a great one.

He started as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council, advocating for students and ensuring that their voices were heard by the dean’s office. Each semester, he took on more responsibilities and became a TA for the Business Forum class, a job that requires great leadership, organizational skills and attention to detail.

He is also heavily involved in student organizations. He excelled as president of the Future Business Leaders of America. His organization even won Club of the Year for the Office of Student Life awards. He currently is co-president of the Rutgers Finance Society and is studying abroad overseas in China at the same time. He is highly ambitions, determined, and I believe, he will go very far in whatever he pursues.”
