Below is the entirety of the data included in the admissions portion of our methodology. Acceptance rates, adjusted average SAT, and average high school GPA are all reported by the schools and represent the entering Class of 2021. The top 10% of the high school class and National Merit Scholars were reported via our alumni survey and represent the graduating Class of 2019.
Cornell reported the toughest acceptance rate at just 5.44%. NYU Stern had the highest adjusted average SAT at 1,531. Wharton graduates reported the highest percentage of students finishing in the top 10% of their high school classes at 90.48%. Students entering the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School reported the highest average high school GPA at 4.35. And 2019 graduates of Wharton also reported the highest percentage of National Merit Scholars at 38.10%.
