Describe your dream Job: My dream job would involve direct access to the financial markets, allowing me to develop a macroeconomic view of the future and mold insights for clients. I also hope to develop a firm understanding of how finance can be tied to improved public service and infrastructure.
What did you enjoy most about majoring in a business-related field? I enjoyed that my major allowed me to collaborate with ambitious, ethical, and passionate peers with a variety of interests. Few other majors on campus provide as much opportunity for growth through shared learning as mine.
Where would you like to work after graduation? Citi — markets analyst
What are your long-term professional goals? I would like to become highly proficient in investment research and eventually head a division covering a specific economic sector.

What was the happiest moment of your life? My acceptance to Cornell University.
Which academic, extracurricular or personal achievement are you most proud of? I co-founded Dyson Inclusion and Diversity (Dys ID), a student organization that focuses on improving opportunities for diverse undergraduate business students. Witnessing my peers assist their fellow undergraduates with academic and career aspirations, educating classes on pertinent global issues, and volunteering to promote wellness in the local community were all unforgettable experiences that taught me much about the value of philanthropy and leadership.
What animal would you choose to represent your professional brand? I would choose a dolphin to represent my professional brand, as they are highly observant, loyal, and collaborative.
Who would you most want to thank for your success? I would like to thank my parents for my success. My mother and father inspire me to use my knowledge and experiences to become a leader that acts as a role model for others. They taught me the value of keeping an open mind and using unconventional thinking for solving problems — I apply these lessons to my academic and professional aspirations.
What would you like your business school peers to say about you after you graduate from this program? I would like my business school peers to speak about my commitment to diversity and universal financial education after I graduate.

What made Kenneth Sang such an invaluable addition to the Class of 2017?
“Kenneth Sang specializes in Finance in the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management. He was an active member of the undergraduate program, having initiated a “Dyson Day in the Industries” trip each spring that introduces students to a diverse range of companies in New York City. He also worked with campus-wide business and minority organizations to create networking sessions with companies such as Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, and EY. His enthusiasm for mentoring his peers is a strong part of his legacy, and he initiated programs that will continue to enhance their professional development.”
