Top Business Schools With The Most International Students

Hult International Business School students

If you’re looking for a school with a lot of international diversity, it’s probably a good bet to pick one with the word “international” in its name. This year, Hult International Business School reported 92% of its freshmen are considered international — more than any other school reporting the figure and it’s not even close.

Hult was followed by Boston-based Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of business, which reported enrolling a class of 27.50% international. That number is up slightly from the 25.10% Northeastern reported for incoming business majors last year. Seattle University’s Albers School of Business followed with 21.20%, down substantially to the 32% the school reported last year.

We collect student demographic data for incoming business majors through our data-collection process as part of our ranking of Best Undergraduate Business Schools. Across the board, schools mainly reported lower rates of international students this year — not surprising considering the impact the global Coronavirus pandemic has had both on travel and higher education.

Florida International University’s business school had the fourth-highest rate of international students at 19%, but again, the number was slightly lower than the 22% reported by the school last year. Rounding out the top-five is New York University’s Stern School of Business, which reported enrolling 16% international students this fall, down from 22.1% last fall.
