Harvard Business School Online Launches Second Season of Popular Podcast ‘The Parlor Room’
Harvard Business School Online just announced the second season of its ever-popular podcast, The Parlor Room, kicking off with the first episode airing on October 7th this year.
The name is inspired by cozy parlor rooms in Victorian homes, where friends and family would stir up conversation. Their first season, which launched last October, was packed full of powerful conversations with HBS faculty on a variety of subjects like AI, successful business models, negotiating strategies, and climate change to name a few topics. It also featured many beloved faculty like Linda Hill, discussing leadership and management, Jeff Bussgang, covering entrepreneurship and VC, and Forest Reinhardt, discussing climate change and business strategy.
This season will include ten episodes, which will air every other week, where they’ll discuss today’s most pressing topics.
What’s on the agenda? HBS Online shared a sneak-peak with Poets&Quants, and the first episode will be a conversation with Amy C. Edmondson – HBS Professor of Leadership and Management, ranked No. 1 last year by Thinkers50.
From what we’ve gathered, it looks like they will be diving into some of the key topics in her book Teaming: How Organizations Learn, Innovate, and Compete in the Knowledge Economy.
