DIVERSITY RANKINGS
The name just keeps popping up: Aminad Consulting.
In the Boutique Consulting Ranking, Aminad topped the list. In the Quality of Work and Life survey, Aminad appeared in the Top 5 across ten dimensions. When Vault asked consultants to score their firms across six Diversity dimensions…well, Aminad was hard to miss.
Individuals with Disabilities? Aminad was #1. LGBTQ+? Highest score. Race and ethnicity? Aminad got the nod. Overall Diversity? You guessed it…
How does Aminad set the bar in Diversity? According to one survey-taker, Aminad recruits heavily from a pool that includes the historically underserved. For another, there is a top-down commitment to developing these hires once they arrive.
“DEI at the firm is great,” observes one Aminad consultant surveyed by Vault. “There is an intentional effort to inject DEI in all aspects of the firm from project work to internal events and hiring. Consultants have equal access and there is a focus on understanding and consideration of DEI at all levels.”
Aminad also ranked 2nd for Women and Military Veterans. Among veterans, the Boston Consulting Group averaged the highest score, while ranking in the Top 3 in every dimension except Women. There, ghSMART ranked as the top firm. Several survey respondents noted that more than half of ghSMART’s partners are women. That includes one female partner who points to the firm walking the talk.
“I mentor a gay colleague, who is at home here. We have several military veterans, as well. On one of my client service teams, I have a military veteran, a Black woman, and a gay man. It’s an absolute rock star team, in part because I have the flexibility to choose it and align the skills of the team with the client’s needs. Our work-from-home setup is geared nicely to individuals with disabilities, as well.”
