How would you rate the quality of teaching in business courses?
Having professors who can inspire and connect with students is the core ingredient to a superior educational experience. The best faculty don’t only teach well in a classroom, they can be counted upon as valuable coaches and mentors. And according to this year’s surveyed alumni, no school has a better teaching faculty than Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce. The school posted an average of 9.55, earning it the only “A+” in this year’s group. Up next was Notre Dame’s Mendoza at 9.45. Mendoza was followed by Wake Forest and then Indiana Kelley and Washington University, which each tied for the fourth spot.
At the bottom were George Washington University with a still high score of 7.42. St. John’s Tobin School was next to last and Lipscomb University’s College of Business in Nashville, Tenn., was one above it. Of the 82 schools, the average rating for the quality of faculty was an impressive 8.76.
