Report Card: How Alums Grade Their B-School Experience

How would you rate the opportunities given to you in the business program to nurture and improve your skills in business?

There are many things graduates can’t learn until they’re on the first job. But schools can still do everything they can to prepare graduates as much as possible for the first jobs. This year, alumni from North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler School rated their school highest for nurturing and improving their skills in business with an average of 9.69. Hult and Bucknell followed with scores of 9.63. North Carolina’s score was lower than last year’s top mark of 9.8 from William & Mary graduates but was higher than the previous year’s top score — Virginia’s McIntire School with 9.52.

Overall, the average of 8.82 was lower than last year’s 8.92 average. But it was higher than the previous year’s average of 8.73. Some 30 schools earned marks of 9.0 or higher.
