How would you appraise the effectiveness of the business program’s academic advising?

Academic advising can be an underrated component to the business education. Yes, all schools have some sort of academic advising program and it’s kind of expected. But having a solid academic advisor who guides students into the right classes and path can be invaluable. This year, Bucknell topped the list in the most effective academic advising in business programs with a 9.31. Bucknell was followed by Hult (9.17) and Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business (9.14).

Again, Bucknell’s score is lower than last year’s leading score of 9.41 from the University of Pittsburgh’s College of Business. Also like last year, this category was one of the lowest of the 17 prompts with an overall average of 8.21 — another dip from last year’s 8.34 total.
