Report Card: How Alums Grade Their B-School Experience

How would you appraise the business program’s efforts to bring you into contact with practicing professionals, including your school’s alumni network, in the business community?

In an increasingly competitive market for top talent, getting face-time with current practicing professionals — especially alumni — is incredibly important. Don’t believe it? Ask one of the schools on this year’s ranking if its created any new career treks recently for that reason. The country’s best business schools are always looking new and unique ways to connect current students with alums in desirable careers. This year, Bucknell topped the list with a score of 9.63. Notre Dame’s Mendoza followed with 9.53 and Villanova’s School of Business rounded out the top-three at 9.42.

The leading score is a bit higher from last year’s leader, which was Notre Dame with a 9.58. The year before that, Virginia McIntire lead the group with a 9.46. Overall, the score was 8.46 across all schools, which was lower than last year’s 8.57 average.
