A NEW RANKING METRIC: 6-YEAR GRAD RATES
For 2025, we added a new metric to the Admissions Standards category: Six-year graduation rate to help evaluate students’ success in the business program itself. It accounts for 20% of the category score.
A high graduation rate suggests that a program supports students to persist and complete their degrees, even if they don’t finish within the traditional four years. It reflects how well the institution helps students stay on track academically, financially, and personally. It is also the metric tracked by The U.S. Department of Education, through its National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).
Emory University’s Goizueta Business School (ranked No. 8 overall) reported the highest graduate rate out of all ranked programs at 99.5%. In other words, almost all students who enroll will graduate with a business degree.
University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School (No. 9) and University of Washington Foster School of Business (No. 32) both posted rates higher than 98%.
The table below shows the highest and lowest six-year graduation rates from our 2025 business school ranking.
