2021 Report Card: How Alums Grade Their B-School Experience

How would you rate the quality of teaching in business courses?

For a lot of prospective students, this is one of the most important questions. After all, classroom instruction is kinda what you’re paying for when it comes to tuition. So which school’s faculty got the best marks this year? That would be the faculty at Florida Southern College, which earned a 9.50 from 2018 graduates. The number is higher than last year’s leader, Boston College’s Carroll School, which earned a 9.46. Bucknell University (9.38) and Virginia McIntire (9.32) rounded out the top three. Overall, 2018 graduates gave faculty members an average of 8.67, which is slightly lower than last year’s 8.74.

Some 24 schools earned a rating of at least 9.00 However, like many other categories this year, the overall average is lower than it’s been the past few years as graduates gave faculty an overall score of 8.82 in 2019 and 8.76 in 2018.
