SCHOLARSHIP RATES AT P&Q RANKED BUSINESS PROGRAMS
If the cost of a quality business degree seems out of reach, remember that sticker price is rarely the amount a student pays.
Scholarships and grants can make a huge difference in the real cost of a business degree, especially at schools that prioritize merit and need-based aid. In fact, nearly all of the 104 ranked undergraduate business schools in P&Q’s 2025 ranking report offering some level of scholarship support to incoming students. The percentage of students receiving scholarships varies widely by school, as does the average amount awarded.
Take the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business, for example. There, 100% of Fall 2024 business admits who enrolled and stayed past Week 3 received at least one institutional scholarship. The average financial aid package – excluding loans and private or athletic scholarships – was$37,241. That reflects a broader trend: schools are increasingly using aid to attract top talent and boost access.
While scholarship data is not figured in our ranking methodology, we ask schools to report the data to help prospective students evaluate target programs. We asked schools to provide the percentage of incoming Fall 2024 business students that received scholarship support including merit- and need-based federal, state, institutional, and external grants and scholarships. (It does not include not include work study, loans, or athletic scholarships.) We also asked for the average scholarship package for these students.
The chart below shows the school-reported data for both these questions at each P&Q ranked program.
